WHAT IS STANDARDS BASED GRADING?
Standard Based Grading is a style of grading. Its purpose is to heighten the importance of the concept "Does the student know what they are supposed to know?" If the answer is yes, than the student should have a higher grade. If the answer is no, than the student will have a lower grade. There are pros and cons to this system, but the idea is that it is a fairer way of grading.
